Marla Studios was founded last year by Jean Julien Baronnet, the former founder and CEO of Ubisoft Motion Pictures and Producer of the Assassin’s Creed movie and Raving Rabbids series.

We specialize in adapting video games into movies, TV, and VOD content. Since our inception, we have already signed on to produce 2 major motion pictures of big brand IPs and are in final negotiations for 3 other properties (including a TV series).

  • 1+ years experience working for an entertainment executive or agent

INDIE FEATURE FILM SEEKS PRODUCTION INTERN

Job Description:

Get a front-row seat to the independent filmmaking process by working as a production intern on a crowdfunded full-length feature! You will work as the right hand to the film’s producer as a valued and integral member of the team, helping bring the project to life!

This is a unique opportunity to be a part of the entire filmmaking process, from pre-production to principal photography and finally to post-production.

You will learn the ins and outs of low budget filmmaking and crowdfunding and how to overcome the challenges facing micro budget filmmakers today.

The successful candidate will work directly with the producer to help manage pre-production tasks, timelines and responsibilities and also assist in the day-to-day running of the production office during principal photography.

ZipEdTech, and online educational tech firm, is looking for a Multimedia Assistant that will assist the directors and staff with developing multimedia resources including production of videos, webcasts, podcasts and interactive programing and has a strong interest in production, post production, AV design, and managing media across multiple platforms.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  •       Distribute produced media and graphic content to internal and external recipients, meeting the necessary compression and delivery requirements for each specific asset.  Includes compression for web, broadcast and DVD.
  •     Prepare images, video and other media assets for the web.
  •     Create projects in iSpring software, syncing up video lectures with PowerPoint.
  •     Assist with web streaming and web conferencing in both research and implementation.

  • Support creative team with software installation and issue troubleshooting on Mac Pro computer systems.
  • Manage assignments so that all deadlines are met.  If priorities are conflicting or deadlines are unrealistic, this should be analyzed and articulated before negatively impacting expectations.
